We're all done and ready

Barring any unusual surprises we are done and ready for the baby to come. At least from a need to buy stuff perspective, like car seat, stroller, baby underwear, etc. As far as the ready to be parents...well that's another story.

You want to know what else—the whole having the baby thing is another story. We went to a class last weekend and I was surprised at what is expected from the dad. I thought Caroline was going to have to do all the work. Newsflash to me: I'm involved every step of the way.

6 weeks and counting.

Ps. Saw Nacho Libre again for the second time at the dollar theater—very funny!

Last Day in San Jose

Well today we head home for Salt Lake City. It's been a nice vaction for us here in San Jose. Quite relaxing. Though I still did have to go to work everyday, but I guess that is kind of a benefit to because it sure makes the trip a lot more affordable :).

We got to:

  1. Go to Monterey, ride 17-Mile Drive
  2. Go to San Francsico and walk around China town
  3. Speak Cantonese to several Chinese people (this is more of an I than we)
  4. Visit Google campus twice, eat free meals at Google campus twice
  5. Go to Peggy Sue's drive in
  6. Swim in the hotel pool
What a crazy trip...okay not really crazy but we had fun.

We are in San Jose

Well we've been in San Jose for half of a day now. We spend our Sunday afternoon driving all over the coast. It was very pretty, I must admit. And as an unrelated side note I saw plenty of California drivers that don't signal when changing lanes, and that don't pull out of the fast lane to let you by. I just thought I'd throw that in for the persistant "Utah Driver" whiners. News Flash: There are bad drivers EVERYWHERE.

Anyway back to the focus...beautiful coast line. We went on the famous 17-Mile Drive in Monterey. It was very cool. Enjoy the pics.
